These natural pillowcases are handwoven with ecological threads. The rose, lilac, and gray colors are made with artisanal dyes using ash, tree bark, plants, and cochineal insects. The white color is from natural cotton and the blue fabric is from recycled denim jean scarps, re-purposed factory waste from the New Denim Project in Guatemala City. Handwoven by cooperatives of Mayan women weavers in rural communities from Santa Catarina Ixtahuacan in the Western Highlands. They measure 20in x 12in and feature inside lining and YKK zipper on bottom edge.
